Les potz was born out of necessity because I needed flower pots for my plants and since the stores were closed I had to improvise. So I repurposed the tin cans we had stocked for the quarantine. They are hand painted and coated with water proof varnish.
The humanz
The humanz is a collection of old bowling pins, I have restored and painted by hand. They are an ecclectic bunch – a skipper, an artist (Yayoi Kusama), a mystic, an Indian woman, the Virgin Mary – and reflect my curiosity and interest in cultural diversity and spirituality.

I call this the lock-down series because they were all done during the Covid-19 quarantine.

Squirrel feeder – a small tribute to nature
I wanted to start this post in an encouraging way but I have no idea how, so I will let this intention speak for itself. A while ago I started noticing the squirrels that live in the park near our home. They are active from around march to november, usually in the early morning and sometimes at noon too, if it’s not too noisy. I started leaving nuts for them, but being at home with my son allowed us more time to make a proper feeder.
Comptoir des créateurs
This year Friboy and I exhibited at Comptoir des Créateurs, an event organised by l’Eventail at Blue Factory in Fribourg. It was our third gig of the year and I think he is getting the hang of it. He was very proud to show his art.
Friboy’s bestiary of magical beasts
This is the latest series of paintings I made based on Friboy’s drawings. They are all animals, which are my favourites of all his drawings. I love his minimalist lines and graphic design, they remind me of Keith Haring’s style and they allow me to work with details without overdoing it.
New large glass paintings
These are my latest commissioned glass paintings, 50×40 cm. The first is called Elysian flowers and second is Rosa Rolanda backstage.
Oggy gets a mural
My sister asked me if I could paint a mural on her terrace. I had never done it before which equally freaked and thrilled me. I love street art, graffiti and anything massive. And like with any new project that I undertake, I bought several books on large scale street art so I could document myself on the techniques before I get started. It didn’t go as planned, Friboy got in the way :).
